Great sports bar if you're looking to catch a game here! They have your prototypical selections of beers on tap and then some more in bottles/cans. I was surprised by how good the food tasted, especially the spicy garlic wings (server recommendation - thanks!). Our servers were on top of their stuff that day. We might've just found our new spot.

This may seem a bit unfair to give this place 1 Star however it's directed at the service not the food because I didn't stay long enough to order food or have a beer. Here's what happened: I called ahead of time asking if they were playing a specific football game (not a 49er game) and the lady on the phone said yes. So I drove 20 min there only to be told that they don't have all the games and to find it on my own after I was handed the remote control. I shouldn't have to click for games! That's your job. You call yourself a "Sports Bar"... pfffft. If you only have 2 TVs then you can't call your place a Sports Bar. Get it together people.

The eggplant parmigiana was excellent. The chicken parmigiana was okay. Service was not that good. Missed bringing my soup and we had to ask a second time for the broccoli starter which was good. Pleasant atmosphere with a lot of tvs for sports.

Getting one beer after a social event, I knew no one, and the waiter "verbally forced" (strong wording used intentionally) to pay with a single check.
To quote his direct words to me, "I'm not trying to be a dick, but you should've sat at another table from the people you didn't know". Now though I didn't know anyone, I spent about 10 minutes at this after-event gathering and then I was ready to leave... Said waiter, would not let me have a separate check still. He said that I would have to wait with everyone else for 15 additional minutes so that we could pay as a group.
15 minutes later, I was lucky enough that one of the attendees was nice enough to just let me venmo him, and I went to the restroom. Upon leaving the restroom, the party had dispersed and walked outside. Our waiter is cussing saying all sorts of profanities about how our party under-tipped him. He looks up at me coming out of the restroom yelling "WTF man, WTF man" and follows me to the door of the bar. Given his attitude, I'm not surprised the group didn't tip him well.
You be the judge. -

Nice small bar located in dowtown san mateo. They have a lot of beer on tap and well as a full stock bar. I wouldn't call it a dive bar tho.. more of a local small bar but they are totally decked out in warriors cups and decorations along the wall. Happy hour is only $1 off beers and half off appetizers. So not too good on drinks but for a pitcher it was unde$20 which is not bad. So the group of us had the pitcher and went to the next happy hour location around the corner.
